My Leadership Learnings

When you enter the Axians office in Vienna, my workplace for the last decade, you see the following words in big letters on our office walls:
The principles of an Open Organization.
Like most of us I have learned management in a hierarchical, tayloristic environment. My deepest beliefs today however are that those type of organizations are no longer best suited for the digital age. The years to come need a very different culture, DNA and leadership style.
That‘s when I decided to discontinue my perception of a powerful manager and started my learning journey towards becoming a servant leader.
Not only have I mastered that transformation. We in Axians Austria have mastered that transformation. There is no change if you do not start the change within yourself. Over the past four years Axians Austria has become one of the most successful IT service providers in Austria and in our international group.
In my weekly posts I will share my leadership learnings with you: #sharemore #includemore
I am looking forward to your feedback. Every conversation is a learning. Learning never ends.
